Asbestos Management/UST Remediation Services

For the past nine years, SE Technologies, LLC (SET) has acted as Owner/Representative during ongoing asbestos abatement activities at South Hills Village Shopping Mall located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. SET's responsibilities as owner representative has continued for three separate owners of the mall and include:
- Assessment of each tenant space for asbestos containing materials.
- Preparation of technical specifications and regulatory notifications for asbestos removal.
- Oversight of contractor activities during asbestos abatement, including daily and clearance air sampling.
- Attendance of all Allegheny County Health Department Final Inspections.
- Preparation of final report documenting asbestos-abatement activities, air sample results, waste disposal manifests and quantities of asbestos removal.
In addition to the above asbestos management services, SET also performed core drilling, and soil remediation in conjunction with the removal of an underground waste oil storage tank located on the property. SET also prepared the UST closure report required by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection which included:
- Notification of Closure letter
- Amended "Registration of Storage Tank(s)"
- Notification of Contamination letter and form
- Tank Contents Disposal documentation
- Tank and Ancillary Piping Disposal documentation
- Contaminated Soil Disposal documentation
- Encountered Perched Water and Accumulated Runoff Disposal documentation
